Bright Zen Earrings

Sometimes I make something and am shocked at how much it moves me. This is one of those projects.

This fabric caught my eye when I was designing a quilt for a good friend. The design was so consuming for me that I decided to make it the back of her quilt as a bold statement piece. I’ve been playing around with how to use some of my more fun prints in my scraps for earrings with this being my first major project line. I personally secured the fabric to the wood that acts as the core, laser cut out each pair, and then hand resined for a properly water resistant and secure finish. The resin makes the colors and design of this fabric really pop in a way I was not at all expecting and do not feel like I can capture in the photos.
